Are you new to theater and excited to learn more? Are you an experienced actor looking for a new way to challenge yourself? Are you someone who loves saying "Yes, and" after someone else finishes a thought? If any of these apply to you then you should consider improvisational theater! Join Acting Out! Board member and comedy enthusiast Cory Alan in a monthly workshop focused on this fun and fast-paced style of performance art. Each month will feature theater exercises, improv games, and group discussions to help learn and develop skills designed to make you feel more confident about yourself as an artist or just in everyday life. But wait, there's more! Those who show consistent attendance may be asked to perform the Summer Improv Showcase, featuring audience participation in the style of the hit TV show "Who's Line is it, Anyway?" Comfortable clothes and open minds are strongly encouraged. Never let the rules stop you from Acting Out! (or UP!)
