MUSICAL THEATER MASTER CLASS

WORKSHOP with BROADWAY ACTORS Matt DeAngelis and Christine Dwyer 

Ages 12 and Up Wednesday,  June 8th TWO HOUR WORKSHOP  3-5pm (PLUS 30 minute Q & A to follow with vocal performance with Matt and Christine!) 

Option 1 : $75 (8) Students prepare a vocal performance for critique by Matt and Christine.  

Option 2: $35 (5) non-performing student observers.  A great opportunity to listen and learn.  You will also be a part of the Q & A and enjoy a LIVE performance by Matt and Christine!

Matt DeAngelis is a veteran of over 800 performances of the hit musical Hair including Broadway, The West End, and National Tour playing the role of Woof. He also launched  the 1st National Tour of Green Day’s American Idiot and was seen playing multiple instruments in the Tony Award Winning musical Once as Svec. Matt was seen as Earl in the Broadway hit, Waitress as well as Earl on the 1st National Tour.  Matt has also been seen on Television on Person of Interest, Madam Secretary, Marvel’s Daredevil, EVIL, For Life, and Chicago PD.


After graduating with a BFA from The Hartt School, Christine Dwyer toured the US, Canada, and Japan playing Maureen in the national tour of RENT. She is best known for touring the country and flying into Broadway as Elphaba in Wicked. She has donned the green as Elphaba over 1,000 times including the 2014 Tony Awards to celebrate the show’s 10 year anniversary and  for President Barack Obama and Chancellor Angela Merkel at the 2016 Hannover Messe in Hannover, Germany representing the United States.  Christine was last seen touring the country as Sylvia Llewelyn Davies in Finding Neverland. She seen in the NBC Live Jesus Christ Superstar concert, starring Sara Bareilles and John Legend.  Most recently she starred as Jenna in the 1st National Tour of WAITRESS.

Winter Improv Acting Workshop

Adults 18+ Novice to Experienced Actors

Spend three days working on Scenes, Monologues and Improv for two hours each night. You can work on an audition monologue or learn a new one, perform a scene you've been dying to try and play around with tons of fun Improv in between! There will be a "No Pressure" performance to showcase the work done during the workshop which will be open to family and friends! Bring materials you wish to work on or be provided with something special by Reese! 

 

Winter Playwriting Workshop

March 11-13 2019 $80

Week Two: Mon-Wed 6-8pm

Thursday Evening Showcase  March 14

 

Adults 18+ Novice to Experienced Playwrights 

Spend three days working on creating a play of your own for two hours each night.You can work on a 5 minute or 10 minute play. Come prepared with a list of topics to explore and learn how to put it into a play writing format. Bring your stories to life on stage! There will be a "No Pressure" performance to showcase the work done during the workshop which will be open to family and friends!
